If you are a knower of birds, you will notice that this is the scientific name of a prey bird, quite common in this region. The portuguese name of that bird was also the nickname of our grandfather “MILHAFRE”, who inherited, rebuilt and augmented this house over 70 years ago. This restoration is our homage to his memory.

Se for um conhecedor de aves, poderá ter notado que este é o nome científico de uma pequena ave de rapina bastante comum nesta região. O nome português era também o apelido do nosso avô "MILHAFRE" que herdou, resconstruiu e aumentou esta casa há mais de 70 anos. O restauro que fizemos é a nossa homenagem à sua memória.
